BLOOD CAMP

Blood camp was conducted on 13^th December 2005 in the college campus in collaboration with the Lions club, Orathanad and Govt. Medical College, Thanjavur. 55 Teacher Trainees of our institution donated their blood to the blood bank of Govt. Medical College, Thanjavur.

MUTHAMIZH VIZHA

Muthamizh vizha was conducted on 20^th December 2005 in the college campus.

NAAC TEAM VISIT

The NAAC peer team will visit our institution on 28^th and 29^th December 2005 for accreditation.

“NAAC is an autonomous organization established under section 12ccc of the UGC Act of 1956. Govt. College of Education, Orathanadu, Tamil Nadu has volunteered for assessment and accreditation and a peer team comprising of experts from various disciplines will be visiting the institution. The peer team members would like to acquaint themselves with the strengths of the institution and analyze the mechanism for quality improvement. The meeting is neither a faultfinding exercise nor an attempt to solve the grievances. The whole exercise is “aimed at positive introspection”.
